Harland Williams: Harland Williams

Harland Michael Williams (born November 14, 1962) is a Canadian actor, comedian, author, artist, musician and radio personality. Williams was born in Toronto, Ontario, the son of Lorraine, a writer, and John Reesor Williams, a lawyer and Member of Provincial Parliament in Ontario who served as Solicitor-General of the province. He attended Sheridan College, and worked as a forest ranger for five summers before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in comedy. He has written and illustrated eight children's books on various topics including a brontosaurus named Lickety Split. He did a trip around the world with National Geographic. He is a cousin of Kevin Hearn, a member of the musical group Barenaked Ladies. They have released one album together as The Cousins, entitled The Love Song Years.
