Jeff Allen

Jeff Allen Jeff Allen (born June 12, 1987 in Washington, D.C.) is the starting power forward for the Virginia Tech Hokies basketball team. Allen, also known as the "Big Donut" for wearing number zero, enjoyed an impressive freshman campaign at Virginia Tech. Jeff Allen played basketball at DeMatha High School during his sophomore and junior years. Allen was named Team MVP and was an Honorable Mention Washington Post All-Metro player as a junior. Allen played his senior season at Oak Hill Academy. He averaged 14.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, and shot 63.8% from the field. Oak Hill went 40-1 and was ranked 2nd nationally by USA today. As a postgraduate, Allen played at Hargrave Military Academy. There, Allen averaged 21 points, 6.1 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Allen was also rated the number one prep player in the country at Hargrave. As a freshman, Jeff Allen was named to the All-ACC Freshman team and Honorable Mention All-ACC Defensive team. Allen was also named ACC freshman of the week twice....
